PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) is an endocrine-metabolic syndrome widely prevalent among women of reproductive age. Thanks to increasingly in-depth research, it is now understood that a deficiency in inositol plays a key role in shaping the symptomatic profile of patients. Inositol is obtained through diet; however, in women with specific conditions such as PCOS, dietary inositol intake is insufficient to meet their altered needs. The physiological role and benefits of inositol supplementation are now widely documented and recognized by the scientific community. Advances in the field of nutraceuticals have led to the identification of additional active ingredients that, when combined with inositol, make the integrative treatment more effective and comprehensive.
Miclosit®-HA is a dietary supplement with a patent filed by idipharma, based on a technological extract from the plant Ajuga reptans, micronized Gymnema (Microgym® – brand idipharma), indicated to support the metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids, micronized Myo-inositol (Microsit® – brand idipharma), and folate in the biologically active form of methylfolate, which contributes to the normal metabolism of homocysteine.
1 sachet twice a day, one hour before main meals.
The contents can be dissolved directly in the mouth or in a glass of water. Take away from caffeine and sugar.
The presence of the standardized extract of Gymnema sylvestre imparts a characteristic aftertaste typical of this plant-based ingredient.
Store at room temperature (not exceeding 25°C), in a cool, dry place; avoid exposure to localized heat sources, sunlight, and contact with water.
The minimum shelf life refers to the product in its intact packaging and properly stored.
